*************UPDATE*************

Sorry I haven' taken any photos for a long time. I must be too busy teaching eh?

Highlights this year

ATHLETICS DAY

-Unveiling of new house athletic uniforms, which looked fantastic.
- Tawhirimatea taking it out once again, with Tangaroa second.

REGIONAL MANU KORERO
- We had participants in each section this year.
- Te Aonui McKenzie placed 2nd in the Junior Maori section and Campbell Te Paa also placed 2nd in the Junior English section.
- We were proud to have two winners, Yohan Huria of the Senior English and Te Utanga of the Senior Maori section. We look forward to the Nationals held in Rotorua late in Term 3.

GAP YEAR STUDENTS
- Four of our students have been excepted to take part in overseas programs that will take them to the United Kingdom and Canada. They were Kani Williams-Solomon, Aden Ihaka, Yohan Huria & Karetai Williams-Paul.
- Karetai was also granted a special scholarship which funds his whole experience, he was chosen from a group of 6 throughout the country. Kei runga noa atu koe e tama!

TE AUTE 2009

- The Year 9 team were severly beaten.
- Our Year 10 team showed some great skill to win their game.
- And sadly, but inevitably we lost once again to their 1st XV - 38 - 18 or something like that. I believe we were in the running but Te Aute just showed their pure grunt and hunger to win more over our lads.
